Swarmada — Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 18, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how DevNPlay ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the mobile game Swarmada (the "Game"). We built Swarmada to be playable without you creating an account or giving us your name, and we collect as little personal information as possible — the Game plays fully offline and your progress never leaves your device.
By downloading or playing the Game you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
2. Information We Collect
We do not ask you to register or provide your real name, email, or phone number to play. The information involved is limited to:
- Device & technical data — device model, operating system version, language, region, and a non-permanent advertising identifier, used by our ad and store partners to run and secure the Game.
- On-device game data — your chapter progress, coins, Armory upgrades and settings are stored locally on your device (see "Data Stored on Your Device"). They are not uploaded to us.
- Advertising data — when ads are shown, our ad partner (Google AdMob) may process a device advertising identifier and limited device data to deliver and measure ads, including personalized ads where you permit tracking (see "Advertising").
- Support messages — if you email us, we receive the email address you write from and whatever you choose to include.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Game.
- To deliver and measure advertising (personalized only where you permit tracking).
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
- To respond to your support requests.
4. Advertising
The Game is free and may display ads served by Google AdMob — optional rewarded videos you choose to watch (for example, to revive your squad or double a run’s coins) and occasional interstitials between runs. On iOS, the Game asks for your permission through the App Tracking Transparency prompt before using a device advertising identifier for personalized advertising. If you allow it, our ad partner may show and measure personalized ads; if you decline, you still see ads, but they are non-personalized.
You can change your choice at any time in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads, where you can opt out of ads personalization). Where tracking is not permitted, only non-personalized ads are shown.
5. Data Stored on Your Device
Your chapter progress, coins, Armory upgrades, and in-app settings are all stored locally on your device. This data stays on your device, is not synced to our servers, and — because there is no account — is not shared between devices. Deleting the Game removes this local data.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Game — the app stores and our advertising partner — and only as needed for those functions, or where required by law.
7. Data Retention
Because gameplay data lives on your device, you control its retention by keeping or deleting the Game. Data handled by our ad and store partners is retained according to their own policies. Support emails are kept while your request is open and for a reasonable period afterward.
8. Children's Privacy
Swarmada is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not serve personalized ads to users we know to be under the applicable age. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a partner in connection with the Game, contact us and we will work to address it.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. Because the Game does not require an account, most data is anonymous or stays on your device; to exercise a right or request deletion of data tied to your device, email us and we will help.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard the limited data we handle.
11. International Transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Game after an update means you accept the revised policy.
